This page only reads data. Writing inverter settings needs a separately verified, authenticated endpoint — deliberately not built yet so nothing here can accidentally change your system.
Grid over-voltage limit

Maximum grid voltage accepted before protective disconnection. Follow the inverter certificate and TNEB requirements; never change from a generic recommendation.

Grid under-voltage limit

Minimum acceptable grid voltage. Incorrect values can defeat protection or create repeated shutdowns.

Grid frequency range

Allowed frequency window around India's nominal 50 Hz supply. Values must match the approved grid code and installer settings.

Export power limit

Controls permitted grid export where supported. Keep unchanged until a bidirectional meter is installed.

❓ How this tab works (3 steps) — tap to expand

1. Billing cycle start date — set to the date your last TNEB bill was read. This tells the app which days to add up.

2. Add this cycle's bills — enter what TNEB actually charged you, for both connections (Svc 89 and Svc 1008).

3. Tariff slabs & ROI — these are already filled in from your real bills below; only touch them if TNEB changes its rates or you want to update what the system cost.

Once step 1 and 2 are done for a cycle, the total savings and ROI cards below update automatically — nothing else to do.

No net meter connected yet

This only measures generation, not what you actually import from or export to the grid. Enter each TNEB bill by hand below and this works out real savings using your actual tariff slabs — once a net meter is connected, this switches to automatic and this form becomes unnecessary.

Billing cycle start date

TNEB's actual bi-monthly reading date shifts around weekends/holidays (61-63 days, not always exactly 61) — set this to your real cycle start whenever a new bill arrives, and everything below recalculates from that. Future cycles default to +2 months from here until you correct the next one too.

Add this cycle's TNEB bills

You have two separate EB connections, one per solar system — pick which one below, then enter that bill. Do both for this cycle.

Return on investment

What you paid for the system, set against what it's saved so far — a rough payback estimate, not an accounting-grade figure (it inherits the same estimates as the savings numbers above: usage-share by installed capacity, and generation pulled from SMTEN).

Your TNEB tariff slabs

Taken directly from the "SLAB RATE" table printed on your actual bills (Service 1008 and Service 89) — both showed the identical table, so this is your real current LT-1A/Domestic rate. TNEB revises this occasionally, so it's worth a glance next time a new bill arrives rather than assuming it's permanent; edit the rows below if it's changed.

Tariff A — total usage ≤ 500 units this cycle

Tariff B — total usage > 500 units this cycle
